Spectators braved cool temperatures and a lively breeze to cheer on competitors at Foxcroft Equestrian Centre's annual
Victoria Day horse show on Monday May 22.
Judges for the day were Aletia Townsend of Guelph and Christina Caravaggio of Shelburne. The day ran smoothly
with help from a fleet of volunteers including:
- Fiona Reynolds - dressage scribe and cross-country jump judge
- Mathew Gourlay - bar-b-q
- Cynthia Weedle - prizes and office
- Barb Harper, Rita Murnaghan, Jane Johnson - gate stewards
- Garry Wilkes - photographer
A wonderful selection of prizes was donated by Laurie Hanes and her sister Shelly of Dan Patch Tack Shop in Dundas.
The combined training division included a dressage test and a jumping course which incorporated colourful
stadium jumps as well as solid cross-country obstacles.
